- The Splice Detector will detect the glossy surface of most splicing tapes regardless of color.
- Detection device is mounted directly onto the rewind machine (see figure above) and will stop the machine automatically upon detection of a splice.
- The "Reset" indicator light (located on the control panel below the main power switch) will illuminate and the machine can not be restarted until the "Reset" switch has been pushed.
- Factory-set sensitivity adjustment will detect most known splice materials, while allowing for manual adjustments to be made for individual requirements.
- The Splice Detector can also function as an automatic roll-end shut-off or can be turned off when not needed,
